The sweet Svan plate is part of the Elsa Beskow collection from the Swedish Design House Stockholm, a series created by designer Catharina Kippel who has interpreted Beskow's illustrations. The collection includes several different products, all featuring various motifs drawn from Elsa Beskow's beautiful and timeless children's books. This plate is made of high-quality bone china and has a motif taken from the book Petter & Lotta's Adventure from 1929, which tells the story of the children's adventure with Uncle Blue and the three aunts who, during their adventure, find themselves at an exciting market where they get to ride a carousel and have fun together. This lovely little plate is perfect for the very youngest and can also be matched with other parts in the collection.
