The Story behind Dixie

Dixie was founded by Maris Mellander in the early 1990s. With a background as a ballet dancer and after completing a degree in economics, the idea was born to start a design company. Here she was able to combine her interest in creativity and design with her great passion for doing business. Today, Dixie successfully develops its own design products but also collaborates with some of Sweden’s leading designers.
