Atmosfera dining table from Gubi has a simple aesthetic and maintains a discreet balance with a nod to classic references without being too formal. The tabletop is made of rhythmic, recurring slats of solid, premium teak, enclosed by a frame made of the same slats, giving a minimalist feel. The table legs are designed from two vertical slats, using a mitre joint that creates an inverted L-shape in each corner. Referencing architectural and maritime design, the unusual leg design provides both structural support and visual interest, giving the table a certain lightness. Each leg protrudes slightly above the surface of the tabletop, culminating in a rounded detail in contrast to the geometric lines of the structure, bringing a calm tranquillity to the design.
