Kay Bojesen Santa Claus

The Kay Bojesen Santa Claus was designed back in the 1940s by the Danish designer Kay Bojesen. The original wooden figure was relaunched in 2013 with sack and a cane. Kay Bojesens characters have become classics all over the world and the Santa Claus is inspired by the colorful soldier which was designed in 1942. An interesting detail is also that the Santa Claus can be regarded as a preliminary study for Kay Bojesen's most famous figure, the monkey, who was born in 1951. The monkey has the exact same body and design as the Santa.
