What is the story behind Knabstrup Keramik?

Knabstrup Keramik has roots dating back to 1622, when the limited company ‘Knabstrup Teglværk’ was established. Initially, it was the design and production of flowerpots that they were working on, which at the time was a new and innovative idea. In 1911, Knabstrup Keramik was mentioned as the largest producer of flowers in Scandinavia! Since then, the range has been expanded to also include vases, bowls, crockery, dishes and other ceramic products.
