PH 3½-3 pendant lamp is a beautiful ceiling lamp from Louis Poulsen that was launched in 2014 on designer Poul Henningsen's 120th birthday and is based on his original drawings. All three shades are made of pressure-turned aluminum with a white lacquered interior that provides a soft downward and completely glare-free light. The iconic three-shade system was designed by Danish Poul Henningsen, who, in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, designed the first PH lamps in 1925-1926 for an exhibition in Paris. Here, he used a scientific perspective as the lamp is built based on the logarithmic spiral, a mathematical spiral curve that occurs in many places in nature. This provides an even distribution over the entire curve of the shade. The suspension and shade holder are made of silk-matt brown-painted brass, giving it the same appearance as the bronzed brass lamps from that time. Bronzing is a process that has been chosen for environmental reasons. The numbers of the PH lamps refer to the size of the shades and the letters come from the designer's initials. The pendant, which is both modern and classic, comes in different colors so that you can choose the one that best suits your home. Feel free to explore the wide range of PH lamps.
