The Story behind Lyngby Porcelæn

Lyngby Porcelæn began in an unused sugar refinery in the Danish town of Lyngby in 1936. The porcelain factory was equipped with the latest in technology, which quickly made Lyngby Porcelæn a leader in porcelain production in Denmark. In 1969, the factory closed its doors but left a great legacy to Danish design history with its unique characteristic designs. In 2012, Lyngby Porcelæn reopened its doors and relaunched its iconic designs, recreated with care and respect for the original design. In addition to relaunching old, iconic designs, Lyngby Porcelæn constantly creates new and exciting designs.
