Seireeni fabric from Marimekko has a wavy, modern pattern in three colours. Maija Isola, who is behind the pattern design, was inspired by movements in the water when she travelled around Greece in the early 1960's. The cotton fabric designed in 1964 can be used for pillowcases, curtains, aprons and tablecloths among other things – the sky's the limit! The name Seireeni comes from the Sirens, creatures in Greek mythology who attracted sailors by singing enchanting songs for them.
