With subtle details and refined lines, the Ambit collection by Muuto has an understatedly modern expression and minimal design language. The series consists of three types of lighting designs which are handmade with exceptional precision.

The Ambit collection

In the Ambit collection, you will be able to find three types of lighting designs: The Ambit Pendant Lamp, Ambit Rail Lamp and Ambit Wall Lamp.

The Ambit Pendant Lamp

The Ambit pendant lamp has a simple, clean and typically Scandinavian design with clearly defined angles and curves. The white interior of the lamp allows for optimal bright light and contrasts with the outer shade. The Ambit Pendant light works beautifully both on its own as well as hung in clusters to create a vibrant formation.

Ambit Rail Lamp

With hidden cables and wires as well as thin bearings, the Ambit Rail ceiling lamp appears to be floating elegantly in the air. The ceiling light is the ultimate light for the kitchen or dining area and will add a modern Scandinavian touch to your home.

Ambit Wall Lamp

The Ambit Wall Lamp has a modern design expression, with subtle details and clean lines. The wall lamp has a swivel arm which moves up to 120 degrees around the axis and the lampshade can also be rotated 60 degrees on either side, giving you the option of direct or indirect light. The included electrical bracket means that the Ambit light is easy to mount and that the wires can lay flat against the wall to minimise their visibility.

Hand-made with traditional brazier methods

The lights in Muuto’s Ambit collection are crafted with precision. The aluminium shade is made from the old brazier traditions of press spinning by hand. It is then polished and painted by hand for the perfect finish.

Meet the designers - TAF Studio

The Ambit collection by Muuto was designed by TAF Studio, a Stockholm-based design and architecture practice founded by Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom. The studio’s design philosophy is to make everyday life less ordinary through small but effective changes that bring a new life to household products.

Caring for your Ambit lights

To keep your Ambit light in good condition, clean it gently with a soft dry cloth to remove and dirt and dust particles. It is important that you switch off the electricity before cleaning it.
