Paradisverkstaden is a well-known centre for ceramic on the island of Öland in Sweden. The view over the Öland sand dunes and the Kalmar strait serve as a source of inspiration for the two Swedish ceramic artists Eva and Olof Paradis, who are appreciated world-wide for their handmade ceramic art. Here you will find the famous candle holders, vases, cups and more in natural colours and shape.
The family business Paradisverkstaden started in 1975, when Eva and Olof Paradis set up a studio on Öland. Nowadays, daughters Hannah and Moa are also an important part of the company.
Today, Paradisverkstaden is a well-known and reputable brand that has been a purveyor to the Royal Court since 1986.
All Paradisverkstaden products are produced on the island of Öland in southern Sweden. Each item is designed, shaped and painted by hand. Some designs are created by talented artists from Gdansk in Poland, and others exclusively on Öland. The items go through up to 27 production stages until they are ready for sale.
All pieces from Paradisverkstaden are made from durable stoneware clay, which means the tableware is dishwasher-safe and can be heated in the oven and microwave, so you can really use it for your everyday life.
