The Swedish Grace Gala plate is Rörstrand's anniversary version of the piece, here meticulously adorned with genuine gold — the perfect adornment to gild those celebratory occasions and momentous milestones in life. The small plate is ideal for enjoying savoury starters, fresh salads, crisp baguettes, or even to indulge in a sumptuous dessert. This special edition has been especially designed to celebrate 2020 as the 90th anniversary since Louise Adelborg originally designed the iconic Swedish Grace service collection. The elegant crockery collection was originally inspired by the graceful, undulating motions of bountiful wheat swaying and bending in the gentle summer wind. The collection was originally called the Nationalservisen series but was renamed under the moniker Swedish Grace in 2001 as an homage to the golden age of Nordic classicism circa 1910–1930. The Swedish Grace Gala collection pairs beautifully with pieces from the original Swedish Grace collection as it offers a dynamic contrast with its gentle golden gilding.
