Who founded Volant?

Volant was founded by Daniel Hoftun, who started the company in his apartment, where he packed all the orders himself and then delivered them by bicycle. Today, Volant has offices in both Oslo and Stockholm.

How does a Volant diffuser work?

Inside the Volant diffuser is a ceramic plate that, thanks to 2.5 million vibrations per second, creates a water vapor, similar to the steam at a waterfall. When you add essential oil, it is broken down into microscopic particles which, mixed with water, become a fine mist.

How do I use Volant’s diffuser?

1. Fill with water.
2. Add 20–25 drops of essential oil.
3. Place the plastic cover, then the outer cover.
4. Choose a time setting. Choose between a continuous flow and intervals.

Can I use Volant’s essential oils without a diffuser?

Yes, essential oils from Volant can be used in more ways than just with a diffuser. Fill a spray bottle with water and add about 15 drops of essential oil, then spray it on furniture or bed linens for a fresher feel. If you like to bathe, you can drop five drops into the bathwater, and if you prefer showering, instead drop ten drops on the shower floor.
