Bengt & Lotta

Bengt & Lotta are also known as Bengt Lindberg and Lotta Glave. For over 20 years, they have been partners in both their design work and private life, enriching the world with playful and whimsical ideas.

Bengt Lindberg and Lotta Glave met whilst studying at the University of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm and were instantly attracted to one another. After graduating, they started working for a newspaper and advertising agency respectively however this did not give them enough opportunity to express their creativity so they decided to start their own brand; Bengt & Lotta. They designed modern products inspired by traditional crafts and Swedish folklore, which was an immediate success.

Both Bengt Lindberg and Lotta Glave enjoyed arts, crafts and fun ornaments during their childhood, which has shaped their charismatic style today. Bengt Lindberg’s designs are amusing and graphic with roots in folk art. In 1991 he designed his first moose, which is now a popular Swedish souvenir. Lotte Glave’s designs are filled with joy and laughter with a vision to connect on a personal level.
