Ingegerd Råman

Ingegerd Råman is known for her strong integrity, which characterises her as one of Sweden's foremost designers and potters.
Ingegerd Råman trained at Capellagården but soon realised that her passion was with clay and at the turntable. This passion led her to the College of Arts in Stockholm and to Italy where she studied ceramic chemistry. Since then she has designed glassware for Orrefors and Kosta Boda as well as for companies such as Gense and Svenskt Tenn.

Everything that Ingegerd Råman creates comes from the philosophy of being faithful to oneself. Therefore she only creates products she would like to buy herself, prioritising 4 different aspects; beauty, function, simplicity and value for money. This philosophy is displayed consistently through her use of clay and glass.
