This trendy and simple Christmas drink consists of just two ingredients – we’re talking about Glubbel! Here in Sweden mulled wine is known as glögg and is commonly available to buy “pre mulled” but if you can’t get your hands on this we have a recipe for an alcohol free version here (for real mulled wine simply replace the blackcurrant juice with red or white wine and add a little sugar to taste).
This drink is full of Christmas spice, pleasantly sweet and delightfully bubbly, the prefect offering at any Christmas party.
Ingredients for 1 drink:
How to: Mix mulled wine with sparkling wine of your choice and garnish the Christmas drink with a candy cane. If you don't feel like garnishing with a candy cane you can always use a cinnamon stick or an orange slice.
Tip: coat the edge of your glasses in crushed candy cane by rubbing the rim of the glass with a lemon or lime slice and then dip the glass in the crushed candy cane. Voila! An extra festive Christmas detail!
We hope that these Christmas cocktails get the Christmas feelings flowing and that they brighten up your festive occasions this Christmas. Merry Christmas from us to you!
