What exactly do you need for an original Easter table setting? Here are five tips to help you create a playful Easter table:
Start with a bright, spring-like base. A pastel-coloured or patterned tablecloth creates a friendly and festive atmosphere. Go for soft colours such as pink, light blue or mint green to emphasise the playful character. Combine with cheerfully patterned or colourful tableware - for example, with floral patterns or delicate dots. Colourful plates, glasses with coloured rims and springtime napkins bring additional freshness to the table.
A lovingly laid table thrives on small details. Folding napkins into cute bunny ears or butterflies is a particularly charming idea. Use fabric or paper napkins in pastel shades that blend harmoniously with the colour scheme. Add a small bow or a name card to make them not only a practical but also a decorative highlight on the Easter table.

Concertina your napkin into a fan shape and add a flower as an additional detail.
Flowers are part of spring and therefore also part of the Easter table! Go for bright spring flowers such as tulips, daffodils or hyacinths to create a fresh accent. Arrange them in small vases or spread mini bouquets over the entire table. Individual flowers in small glass bottles or as scatter decorations on the table also create a lively and cheerful overall look.

Easter eggs are the symbol par excellence of Easter. Design painted or glued Easter eggs in different colours and patterns and place them decoratively on the table. Alternatively, you can personalise the eggs with the names of your guests and use them as original place cards. Handmade place cards in the shape of Easter bunnies, chicks or eggs also add a special touch.
Easter without sweet delicacies? Unimaginable! Cakes and pastries in particular are wonderful eye-catchers on the festive table. How about an elaborately decorated Easter cake with pastel-coloured cream and little sugar bunnies as decoration? Or a moist carrot cake with cream cheese frosting that not only tastes delicious, but also fits perfectly into the Easter atmosphere? Small cupcakes with Easter motifs or lovingly decorated biscuits also look great on the table. Perhaps you could even set up a dessert table for your guests to help themselves from?
