To commemorate the occasion of the 30 year anniversary since the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child came into force, Arabia has launched a new Moomin mug decorated with Ninni, the invisible child. For every Ninny mug that is sold, Arabia is donating 10 SEK to the Save the Children non-profit charity. Ninny appeared in Tove Jansson's short story "The Invisible Child", in which the Moomin family comes across a poorly treated little girl who became invisible. Moomintroll, in his ever-empathetic manner, helps Ninny regain her confidence. The story contains a moving message about the power of caring and illustrates how important it is to see others and to be seen.
