The ML42 barstool 77 cm is an iconic chair from Audo Copenhagen. The seat has a soft undulating shape and its bowl form makes it very comfortable to sit on. The elegant metal footrest provides extra comfort and character, bringing an exciting contrast between the raw hardness of the metal and the soft, organic form of the wood. Mogens Lassen designed the barstool in 1942 for a furniture exhibition at the Danish Museum of Decorative Art. When Lassen drew the ML42, he took inspiration from the traditional stools used by skilled cobblers. The beautiful barstool is manufactured in Denmark and comes in a range of finishes and models to choose from.
