The Emilia flower pot Ø35 cm from Bergs Potter is a large planter with a gorgeously natural unglazed surface. The pot has also been referred to as Roman Rope because of the stylized decorative border at the top of the piece. The pot was originally crafted in the 19th century in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna in Tuscany: today, the Danish brand Bergs Potter manufactures their own version, still in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. The Emilia pot has been meticulously handcrafted from premium Italian clay that allows the roots of your plants to grow and breathe while retaining the optimal level of moisture in the soil. The interior of the pot has been finished with a special silicone treatment to render it completely waterproof that lets you use the planter both indoors or out. The unglazed surface of the pot will acquire a radiant patina over time — a striking aesthetic that lends even more personality and character to the planter as it ages and matures. This large pot is ideally suited for Mediterranean plants such as olive or lemon trees.
