The cork trivet smoked from Swedish brand Formgatan is made of high-quality Portuguese cork. No two cork trivets are alike, thanks to the material's natural variations. Cork is a very environmentally friendly material owing to its regeneration process: after harvest it lowers the levels of carbon dioxide in the air 3-5 times better than that of a a tree whose cork has not been harvested.
