The Putki lamp from Iittala is an industrial lamp made of blown glass. The name "Putki" means tube in Finnish and refers to the lampshade's vertical lines that create the look of several tubes joined together. The beautiful aesthetics of the lampshade are also functional; the ribbed surface captures daylight and mixes it with the lamplight. The stylish steel legs form the base of the lamp and complement the beautiful blown glass. Designed by Matti Klenell, who won the award for Putki in the category "lighting of the year 2020". The lamp was originally designed for the Swedish National Museum, where it was displayed in the restaurant's window alcoves. Now it's been redesigned for our homes. Putki is a beautiful sculpture and is the perfect size for a table lamp or floor lamp.
