The Raami series from Iittala is designed by the British product and furniture designer Jasper Morrison. Raami means frame in Finnish, and the philosophy behind its pure design language is that it should frame the atmosphere instead of being the focus itself. The pared-down forms leave room for atmosphere, food, drink, and imagination. The Raami series is made of vitrified porcelain, which has a warmer white tone than feldspar porcelain.
