The Kay Bojesen skier was designed at the end of the 1940s and has thereafter been produced in smaller sized collections. Due to this, the original designs of the skier are very rare. One of the figures is named after Kay Bojesen’s son, Otto, who was referred to as Boje. The female skier was named after Otto’s wife Ruth who often went by the nick name Datti. The adorable figures can be displayed by themselves but are even cuter in company of each other!
