Semis carpet from Kvadrat is made from hand-spun Tibetan wool and constructed with the fine yet strong Tibetan knotting technique. The deliberate irregularity of the cut edges creates a beautiful, unpolished surface with a handmade feel. For designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, it is the shape of the dots, the edge and the fact that different weavers create each carpet, that gives each Semis carpet a special, personal touch.
