PH Septima pendant lamp Ø50 cm from Danish brand Louis Poulsen is a seven-shaded glass crown with clear shades in strong borosilicate glass. The pattern in sandblasted frosted glass makes the shades scatter light more diffusely, providing a glare-free downward light. Poul Henningsen designed the original PH Septima 5 in the 1930s and based it on his famous three-shade system, but here four extra shades have been added between the three base shades. At the top of this eye-catching ceiling lamp is a round glass cup that prevents dust from getting inside. In the 1940s, production of the popular PH Septima ceased due to a shortage of raw materials, but in 2020, Louis Poulsen re-launched it with improved glass and optimized suspension for even better durability and stability.
