Unikko hand towel set from Finnish Marimekko consists of two hand towels and two bath towels in soft cotton terry. The towels are adorned with the popular Unikko pattern of poppies. The pattern was designed by Maija & Kristina Isola and came into existence in 1964 after Marimekko's founder Armi Ratia declared a ban on floral patterns. However, Maija Isola managed to persuade her with her delightful poppies and Unikko went into production. Since then, it has become Marimekko's signature pattern. The beautiful towels, with their colour, style, and soft feel, fit perfectly into many different bathroom décors.
