Sleep well and soundly on this gorgeous Unikko pillowcase cm from the Finnish brand Marimekko. Made from a premium blend of cotton and linen, the pillowcase bears the striking Unikko pattern, a design originally conceived by Maija & Kristina Isola in 1964 after Marimekko's founder, Armi Ratia, announced an all-out ban on floral patterns. Despite this, Maija Isola managed to persuade her otherwise with this stylized depiction of majestic poppy flowers — thus the Unikko pattern was born. Since that time, the iconic design has become something of a signature pattern for Marimekko, and a well-loved aesthetic by many all over the world.
