This grounded DCL connector is designed for grounded roof sockets with the new DCL standards. As of 1 April 2019, a new standard applies to plugs and sockets for ceiling lamps throughout the EU. The standard is intended to increase safety and to facilitate trade in the European market. DCL stands for Device for Connection of Luminaires.
