Carl dining table in birch from Stolab is created to honour Carl Malmsten and his classic spindle chair, Lilla Åland, whose design is sturdy, evident, functional, and tactile. The Carl table adopts the chair's character with turned, splayed legs and a chamfered edge on the tabletop. The round, form-pressed apron has a soft profile to give an organic impression. All edges are also generously rounded to highlight the kinship with the chair. The table is round in its basic form, but can be extended with up to four insertion leaves as needed. Note that support legs are required when using 3 or more insertion leaves.
