The In Between chair Sk1 from &Tradition was designed by Sami Kallio, a Finnish-Swedish designer who specializes in wood and traditional woodwork. To create this elaborate yet elegantly sophisticated chair, Kallio employed two classic techniques: speciality moulds were used to produce the seat and backrest while the rounded legs and armrest were crafted through a process known as woodturning. The result is a stylish and immensely comfortable chair that fits just as well at the dining table as it does in the office. The name “In Between” refers to the most distinguishing feature of the chair, namely the negative space between the backrest and side panels.
